You are paying a planning fee for the research, local knowledge, personalization and coordination that go into creating your experience in Japan. GLOW is not simply a list of recommendations — we design a journey around your preferences, priorities and travel style.

Our service is not priced by the hour or by counting each day of your trip. Our fees reflect the level of personalization, research, coordination and support you receive.

Depending on your selected plan, your fee may include personalized itinerary design, beauty and wellness research, restaurant and café recommendations, eligible reservation support, experience coordination, planning communication and other support described in your plan.

The planning fee does not include the actual cost of third-party services such as accommodation, transportation, salon or spa treatments, restaurant bills, admission fees, tickets, shopping or other purchases.

Our business model is centered around a clearly stated planning fee. Where possible, you pay hotels, restaurants, salons and other providers directly according to their own pricing and terms.

GLOW can recommend hotels and areas that fit your journey, while you keep control of the final booking and can use your preferred payment method or eligible loyalty benefits.

GLOW does not currently sell or arrange flights or hotel accommodation as part of our core concierge service. We can provide hotel and area recommendations that complement your journey.

Standard, Signature and Elite are built around typical trip lengths and levels of support. If your itinerary involves unusual complexity — multiple cities, long-distance travel between regions, or planning needs beyond what those plans cover — we may recommend Bespoke instead.

AI can be useful for ideas. GLOW adds human judgment, local context and personal curation, considering atmosphere, location, timing, quality and whether an experience genuinely fits you.

No. Luxury to us does not simply mean expensive. It means thoughtfully selected, personal and worth your time.

For most journeys, we recommend around 8 to 12 weeks before arrival. For peak periods, highly requested experiences or complex journeys, 3 to 6 months is preferable.

Potentially, yes. Last-minute requests depend on availability and complexity. We cannot guarantee every preferred reservation.

Support depends on your selected plan. Higher concierge tiers may include enhanced assistance during the agreed service period. This is not an emergency or 24-hour service.

Our standard service does not include a personal guide throughout your trip. Where appropriate, guides, interpreters, drivers or other professionals may be separately recommended or coordinated.

We use your original preference as a guide and look for a realistic alternative with a similar level of quality, atmosphere, location and overall experience.

Please tell us during consultation. We can consider disclosed requirements and communicate relevant information where included, but individual providers remain responsible for their services and ability to accommodate requests.

Yes, within the revision allowance of your selected plan. Confirmed reservations may be subject to provider policies, and major redesigns outside your package may require an additional fee.

We review your request and contact you with the next steps. After approval and onboarding, planning begins once we receive your 25% planning deposit. The remaining 75% is due before final delivery.

Yes. A 25% planning deposit is required to begin your journey, as planning capacity is reserved and research and preparation may begin once your booking is accepted. Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on how far planning has progressed, the services already provided, our applicable terms and applicable law. Once substantial planning work or a personalized itinerary has been completed or delivered, refunds may be limited. Any third-party reservations or experiences are also subject to the individual provider's own cancellation and no-show policies.

We provide payment instructions after reviewing and approving your request. Check the amount and payment details before paying. Never send card details by email or message.

Yes. We can help plan birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, honeymoons and surprise trips. Depending on your plan and availability, we can recommend experiences, restaurants, beauty and wellness appointments, gifts or flowers and help coordinate eligible details.
